The Photo Review’s Benefit Auction on November 7th.

On November 7th, The Photo Review will be holding a benefit auction at UArts in Philadelphia. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on work by historic masters of photography and contemporary and local photographers, as well as 19th century and vernacular photographs. A very abbreviated list of photographers represented includes: Berenice Abbott, Ansel Adams, Andre Kertesz, Ruth Orkin, Edward Steichen, Paul Strand, Shelby Lee Adams, Elliot Erwitt, Larry Fink, Adam Fuss, Joel Meyerowitz, Duane Michals, Herb Ritts, Jock Sturges, George Tice, Paul Cava, and Andrea Modica.
In addition to the live auctioning of photographs, there will be a silent auction that includes photo equipment, museum memberships, theater tickets, restaurant vouchers, books, etc.
There will be a preview on Friday, November 6th from 11 AM – 5 PM and on Saturday, the 7th from 11 AM – 6 PM. The auction will commence after the preview on Saturday.
