“Making Contact” events this weekend!

If you missed the preview and opening last week for Making Contact, have no fear!  The exhibition is up through the end of December, and we have several events taking place this weekend that you can take part in…

On Thursday evening, the gallery will be open as part of the Crane Building’s Second Thursday Open Studio Night, so come, see the show, and check out some of the other galleries and work spaces in the building.

On Friday evening, we are very pleased to host Vincent Feldman, one of the photographers in Making Contact, who will be giving an artist talk and book signing.  This event is free to the public, and although RSVPs are not required, they’re encouraged.  Click here for more information.

We also have two workshops that are open to the public for a modest materials fee of $10: On Saturday, Rick Wright will introduce participants to large format photography, and on Saturday, Stephanie Slate will lead a pinhole camera workshop.

All events will be taking place at Gallery 105 in the Crane Arts Building, 1400 N. American Street, Philadelphia.  For all the information on Making Contact, click here.
