“Living Image” artist Rachel Guardiola launching Kickstarter campaign to fund Arctic Circle residency

Rachel Guardiola, who was one of the photographic artists selected for inclusion in The Halide Project’s Living Image exhibition, has launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund a residency in the Arctic Circle.  The Arctic Circle Art & Science Expedition brings together scientists and artists onboard a Barkentine ship for a three-week period in order to foster an exchange of ideas and the creation of new work.  With a background in natural history preservation, Rachel seeks to “form interdisciplinary collaborations inspired by the surrounding rare and diminishing environment” with this unique opportunity.

The Halide Project would like to congratulate Rachel and encourage people to support her endeavor by pledging to her campaign.
