The Museum of Fine Arts Boston has two photography exhibitions currently on view featuring prints by two masters of the genre…
Charles Sheeler From Doylestown to Detroit features forty prints from Sheeler’s work as a photographer, images that put Sheeler on the cutting edge of the avant-garde of the time.
Alfred Stieglitz and Modern America features thirty-six prints from the Museum’s Stieglitz collection, which forms the cornerstone of its photography holdings. Included in this exhibition are images of New York City, portraits of Georgia O’Keefe, and the Stieglitz country home in Lake George, New York.
Both exhibitions are on view through November 5th.
