Panopticon Gallery, located in Boston, has Speciation: Still a Camera by Kent Krugh on view through June 27th. Using x-ray technology, Krugh creates images of a wide variety of cameras – from Hasselblads to Holgas – that allow viewers to see the cameras’ inner workings. Scientific in appearance, the images evoke a feeling of nostalgia for the cameras as creators of memory.
