Living Image, The Halide Project’s third annual juried exhibition, showcases handcrafted photography from across the region and the globe selected from an international open call. “This exhibition encompasses the scope of contemporary handmade photography, ”says juror Kat Kiernan of Don’t Take Pictures Magazine and Panopticon Gallery, “with photographs that use the science of chemistry and the art of illusion to make magic from the mundane.”

Kat Kiernan presented a Juror Talk during the festive opening reception, all enjoyed refreshments sponsored by Castellino’s Italian Market and Moore Brothers Wine Company, we announced prizes awarded by Artblog, Indie Photo Lab, and The Photo Review, and raised funds in support of The Halide Project’s upcoming community darkroom. Thanks to all for a great party!
