Photographer and Halide Project board member CJ Harker will demonstrate the wet collodion tintype process, one of photography’s earliest methods and still enjoyed by contemporary artists today. Halloween weekend is a perfect time to play with such magical and etherial images!
While this is not a workshop, it is an interactive demo in which participants will have the opportunity to “get their hands wet” and gain direct experience with this historic photographic process.
***Note: This event will take place behind the building of The Halide Project’s NEW HOME, 1627 N. 2nd street, Philadelphia, PA 19122, at the corner of Turner & Plethora streets.***
