Digital Rally for Philly Arts taking place today through tomorrow!

For those of you in Philly, you may have heard that the proposed 2021 city budget would eliminate 100% of funding for the Philadelphia Cultural Fund and the Office of Arts, Culture, and the Creative Economy, cutting critical funding for hundreds of community nonprofits and organizations throughout the city, including The Halide Project. During a time when budget cuts are negatively affecting essential services, public health, education, arts and culture, and homeless services, the very same budget proposal includes a $14 million dollar increase to the Philadelphia Police Department. We cannot let this pass.

There is a digital rally taking place today through tomorrow – during which testimonials and performances will be livestreamed – and participation is open to all individuals and organizations.
