Caroline Roberts’ work contemplates the uneasy relationship between people and the wildness of the natural world, and her personal connection to place provides the spark for each new body of work. Often working outdoors, her use of cyanotype, lumen printing, and the combination of the two in the cyanolumen process results in a visual echoing of the tension between chaos and control that exists in humanity’s relationship with nature. In her talk, she’ll share her work and approach to image-making.

Caroline’s work is featured in the current exhibition at The Halide Project, [Im]printing Memory.

A Q& A will follow her presentation.
