In her experiments with the materiality of the photographic medium, Séverine Chauveau explores her own relationship with time, disappearance, memory, and forgetting. In creating photographic objects as small “souvenirs,” she moves intimately through her questioning of time as encapsulated in the material of photography.

Séverine’s work is featured in the upcoming exhibition at The Halide Project, [Im]printing Memory.

A Q& A will follow her presentation.
