Light talk with Camilla Jerome
After having been diagnosed with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome after thirty years of pain and full-body dysfunction, Camilla Jerome now uses photography –both analog and digital, color, black and white, and cyanotype – to reclaim her voice and recontextualize her lived experience. Having once felt confined by the four borders of a photograph, she now embraces the fluidity of the photographic medium and likens it to the day-to-day management of chronic illness. The creative process is deeply intertwined with her life.
A Q&A will follow her presentation.
